Please visit our blog for updates of our actions... with some what current historic info... We do not always stay at a motel with computer access or have time to get on line since we are both time and distance conscious... Due to heavy rains we were forced to abandon walking and took to riding through Savanna Ga after visiting the waterfront....
  
We are spending tonight July 24 just across the Ga. State line in Hardeville, South Carolina... Hopefully later tonight we will up date today's journey... We are tired and of need of rest and surrogate walkers to allow for our feet to heal from blisters... I need another pair of walking shoes... and a small tape recorder with cassettes to interview the supporters who stop along the road to offer encouragement or to offer rides... A tape recorder would allow me to record the info on the Historic Marker we are finding on the side of the road.
